Over Christmas (which seems like a long time ago now, but when I am scheduling these posts in January was only a few weeks ago!) I painted a whole load of models – 10 Guardsmen, 10 Engineers with Remote Mines, a Chimera and these, a squad of 5 Terminators that I picked up when I first got my Space Marines army back in 2024.

These are a little closer to proper “Salamanders” green thanks in small part to Colour Forge Matte Spray rattle cans, which, I honestly will never not use again after getting given one by a friend that bought the wrong colour. The coverage is excellent, the colour selection is great and the matte finish is just a delight to paint over. These fellas were sprayed in their appropriately named Salamanders Green spray (https://thecolourforge.com/product/colour-forge-spray-salamander-green-500ml/?srsltid=AfmBOoqd6cySwymjrw5ESG-01B0wRKwEX50rPhY_Bw2peVAA5Ls3328Y) and then just blocked in and washed for a nice quick unit that are not perfect, but are certainly “good enough” for the tabletop.

There are a couple of quirks to these guys, I kit bashed a heavy flamer using the assault cannon and the front off of a guard vehicle flamer which I think looks pretty convincing; I also 3D printed the cyclone missile launcher for the top of the other lad as they either no longer come with the terminator kit or I am stupid and have managed to lose them all.
