This week is a bit of an odd one – These are 3D printed Elites from Halo, taken from a very generous member of the Halo: Ground Command community that has collected and archived all of the models used for the game in a great shared google drive.
The models for Halo: GC were all 15mm to 18mm scale originally, which is a bit small for me; especially as I wanted to use these as a test of printing infantry scale models for Warhammer on my Bambu Lab A1.
I scaled these up in Bambu Slicer to roughly 28mm (I put them next to a space marine in the slicer for reference) and printed them out. They turned out pretty well, thanks in no small part to the Fat Dragon A1 profile

Originally I had intended to use these as a Night lords Kill Team proxy; but I’ve still not gotten around to painting any more than these three (and honestly, I don’t exactly love the night lords anyway).
Since I printed these, Halo Flashpoint has been released, and you can now use Elite models as well; so perhaps these (or some models like these) will get a new use soon!
